Siapa yang tiidak pernah kenal Whitney Houston. diva pop yang memiliki jangkauan suara 5 oktaf di era 1980-an sertamasyarakat musik dunia menjulukinya "The Voice" dengan lagu hitz "I Will Always Love You", Kini Telah tiada. Whitney Houston ditemukan tewas di sebuah kamar di Hotel Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, Sabtu (11/2/2012, KOMPAS.COM) waktu setempat. Seperti dikutip Miami Herald, Whitney meninggal dunia pada usia 48 tahun. Kabar kematiannya pertama kali disampaikan Kristen Foster. Memiliki nama lengkap Whitney Elizabeth Houston, lahir di East Orange, New Jersey, Amerika, 3 Augustus 1963. Houston pernah menikah dengan penyanyi R&B, Bobby Brown pada 1992. Dari perkawinan mereka, pada 4 Maret 1993 lahir anak perempuan, Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown. Namun pernikahan mereka berakhir perceraian, dan resmi bercerai 13 September 2006.
